American Newspapers After the 2022 Russian Invasion of Ukraine

On February 24–25, in the immediate aftermath of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, I took photos of widely circulated American newspapers (though the Star Tribune and Pioneer Press are from Minneapolis and St. Paul, respectively). The clear images of the New York Times and the Washington Post were taken from Freedom Forum. I was not able to get a photograph of the February 25 New York Times, despite trying at three gas stations. Note that the photographs of the New York newspapers (the New York Times and Wall Street Journal) are not necessarily the same as what someone would have received in New York that day because I am in Minnesota (for example, the New York Times calls my edition the National Edition as opposed to the Late Edition). On February 24, only the Minnesota newspapers were able to have coverage of the attacks that happened late the night before (not including Freedom Forum’s images, of course).
